We hold coffee mornings every second month, and lunches four times a year. Usually they all fall on a Thursday. All are held at the Masonic Hall, St George’s Avenue Northampton NN2 6JA. Coffee mornings are held in the Griggs Room on the 2nd Floor. A lift is available from the carpark level. Doors open at 10am and coffee is served at 10.30. Circulars are sent to members to invite them to attend lunches. For coffee mornings you just have to turn up, but, if you do, please remember to print your name on the attendance slips before leaving so that we can ensure we claim a full grant for everyone who attends a function.

17th March		Coffee Morning Dr Astley-Cowper, Ramblings of a Pox Doctor We are aware that some people cannot attend a coffee morning on a Thursday due to other commitments, so, as a one-off, we have booked a Wednesday. Dr Astley-Cowper is a semi-retired consultant who specialises in sexually transmitted diseases. This may sound an unusual subject, but the talk is quite fascinating about the doctor's history, how he got to where he is now, and what led to his speciality. It is not only interesting, but highly amusing at times, guaranteed to make you laugh. There is of course a serious side to the subject, too. I highly recommend the talk, one not to be missed.
