BARCLAYS CAMPUS (BARCLAYCARD) BRACKMILLS ACTIVITIES
Here is a list of the upcoming events to which you are warmly welcomed. But please remember outside events have no restrictions on numbers but you do need to register your name and car registration by email to brackmills.activities@barcpen.org.uk or use the contact form by clicking here.
When registering please state which event you are registering for.
You must produce a photo ID (bus pass, driver’s license or passport).
If your name is not registered and you have no photo ID you cannot access the building.
Community Allotment (Ongoing)
We mentioned in our last newsletter the Community Allotment Scheme which is ongoing within the grounds of Barclaycard House and the organisers are looking for volunteers to help out just a few hours a week to sow the winter vegetables and help maintain This initiative is such a very worthwhile cause. All produce grown is donated to the local food banks but this can’t happen unless they have willing volunteers. So please, if you can help by giving a few hours a week they would love to hear from you.
There is a drop in/tour session on 10th October which will feature students giving a presentation on beehive keeping. Plus the Company who supply the allotment will be delivering the winter plants and giving advice on how to sow, maintain and harvest the vegetables. (So if you want any tips - here’s your opportunity) or better still help with the planting.
So if you enjoy gardening and want to get involved, please get in touch either by email or text so we can pass your details onto the organisers.
Barclaycard Choir (Ongoing)
Do you enjoy singing and would love to be part of a group. This is your opportunity to join like minded people. Two of our members are already attending. The choir resumes on 4th September from 4-5pm. in the canteen.
